The Royal Hospital for Sick Children was the
first in the UK to have used radio frequency waves to free a blocked
artery in an 8 year old boys heart. This combined technique

the innovative technique was carried only after two conventional
attempts to unblock the artery. Without this treatment the young
boy may have died but this revolutionary treatment had him back
at home enjoying his favourite sport once again.
